The Festival of Sport Mount's Bay Beach Run will take place on
Saturday 15th September and comprise two distances. Entry fee for
both distances include free beach sports and Festival
Pass.
5km = £20
10km = £22
Entrants must be born on 31/12/2002 or prior to that date.
Anyone born between 31/12/2002 and 31/12/1995 must be accompanied
by an Adult.
There will be a Children's Beach Run (approx. 800m) which can
be entered as part of the Children's Activity
package.
The Beach Run will start close to the harbour on the Mount itself
and head towards Marazion before heading West towards Penzance.
With loop turn points to complete the distance and feedstations
along the way, the Beach Run is open to all capabilities of athlete
whether you are looking for a fast time, as a warm up to the
following day's Triathlon or as a great way to get out and raise
money for you favoured charity.
The Beach Run course will involve hard and soft sand and a
section will parallel to the main Festival Hub to give spectators
the chance to cheer on their friends and family.
